Job Description
The Accounting Intern is responsible for basic accounting functions.

Responsibilities
  • Other duties and projects, as assigned.
  • Assist with quarter-end closing and reporting.
  • Prepare various monthly journal entries.
  • Complete various account reconciliations (clearing, prepaid, accrued liabilities, etc.).
  • Compile intercompany account documentation and reconciliation between subsidiaries.
  • Prepare and analyze balance sheet and income statements for subsidiaries.

Requirements
Education:
  • Pursuing Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, required
  • Completion of Intermediate Accounting I and at least one other junior level class, preferred
Experience:
  • No prior experience necessary
Computer Skills:
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, required

Other Details
Work Hours:
  • This is a part time position that will average fewer than 30 hours per week. Work hours generally fall between 8:00 am - 5:00 pm with occasional irregular hours depending on workload.
Compensation:
  • This is a hourly position paid weekly.
