Job Description
The Quality Inspector II is a vital part of our Technology R&D team, collaborating with Engineering, Robotics, and Supply Chain members to ensure our products meet the highest quality standards and requirements. This position performs inspections of raw materials, in-process products, and finished products to ensure that defined quality standards for durability and function are met.

Responsibilities
- Assist with QA training of multiple team members as needed.
- Travel frequently to conduct regular inspections at manufacturing facilities, assessing the adherence to quality standards and regulations.
- Provide written reports regarding manufacturing site visits and other QA activities as required.
- Complete all activities related to data recording and preparation of routine reports for Tech R&D leadership in a timely and accurate manner.
- Maintain a positive attitude in a highly intense, yet rewarding, environment.
- Enter quality testing data into test reporting system as tests are conducted.
- Assist with creating and updating checklists for product inspections.
- Perform minor maintenance, troubleshooting, and improvement of products in collaboration with multiple teams.
- Assist with auditing standard operating procedures.
- Conduct routine inspections of products and materials to ensure adherence to standards and specifications.
- Perform duties related to the product life cycle as it pertains to quality assurance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve quality-related issues.
- Review products, processes, and systems and make recommendations for improvement.
- Adhere to established safety policies and procedures during daily work activities.
- Assist in testing and troubleshooting prototypes and products to minimize quality issues.
- Operate standard measuring tools and equipment such as tape measures, calipers, verniers, and gauges.
- Read and interpret blueprints, rules, product schematics, and test instructions.
- Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
Requirements
Education:
- High School Diploma / GED, required
- 3 years of relevant experience working in a production environment.
- Experience with quality inspections, preferred
- Experience with quality measuring tools and warehouse shipping and receiving.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- ASQ Certified Quality Inspector Upon Hire, required
- ASQ Certified Quality Auditor Upon Hire, required
- Certified Quality Inspector by ASQ. Upon Hire, required
- Certified Quality Auditor by ASQ. Upon Hire, required

Other Details
Work Hours:
- Generally, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm with occasional irregular hours depending on workload.
- Occasional (25%-50%)
- This is an hourly position paid biweekly.
