Job Description
The Account Manager - Vaux is responsible for generating new business, growing existing relationships, and managing deals from discovery through close. This position requires a high degree of responsibility and exposure to numerous aspects of the intralogistics and logistics industry, including pricing, sales, systems and tools, marketing, customer needs, and all modes of material handling.

Responsibilities
- Maintain and grow expertise in the Vaux portfolio and intralogistics trends.
- Identify customer business models, workflows, and operational pain points to create tailored, value-based proposals.
- Develop and maintain long-term relationships with strategic decision-makers and influencers within targeted verticals.
- Represent Vaux at industry events, conferences, and customer forums.
- Lead pricing discussions and support development of proposals, RFPs, and pilot scopes.
- Negotiate and manage service requirements, pilot success criteria, and long-term agreements.
- Maintain detailed records of sales activity, including call reporting, pipeline updates, and CRM documentation.
- Pursue new customer relationships aggressively through networking, social media, referrals, and outbound efforts.
- Facilitate service solution creation and pricing based on customer needs and market data.
- Drive expansion opportunities post-pilot by collaborating closely with Customer Success.
- Conduct discovery calls, onsite meetings, and executive presentations to deeply understand customer challenges and position Vaux solutions accordingly.
- Grow existing ArcBest relationships by introducing Vaux into their operations.
- Other duties and projects, as assigned.
Requirements
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain Management, or related field, preferred
- Equivalent work experience in relevant technical field may also be considered.
- 3 years of B2B sales experience, preferably in logistics, intralogistics, or industrial technology.
- Demonstrated ability to manage a complex sales process from lead generation through closing.
- Experience selling solutions with technical components and long sales cycles, preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Atlassian Suite, Salesforce or similar CRM platforms.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Commitment to exceptional customer service.
Other Details
Work Hours:
- Generally, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm with occasional irregular hours depending on workload.
- Moderate (50%-75%) To customer sites, industry events, and internal meetings.
- This is a salary position paid biweekly.
- Variable compensation is included.
Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States and the employer will not sponsor applicants for work visas for this position.
In accordance with the Equal Pay Transparency information, the pay range for this position is $82,000 - $103,000, will fluctuate based on location and experience. Subject to a market adjustment based on nationwide location.
