Job Description
The Supervisor, Inventory will oversee the shipping, receiving, and inventory processes. This position will manage a wide range of goods, from large material handling equipment to electrical sensors. The Supervisor, Inventory will work within an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. This role will also supervise staff in the inventory department.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with fabrication, engineering, and procurement teams to optimize inventory levels and meet production demands.
  • Work closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate records.
  • Maintain a safe and organized warehouse environment.
  • Utilize Microsoft Dynamics to manage inventory data, generate reports, and analyze trends.
  • Lead and mentor a team of inventory specialists, ensuring efficient workflows and adherence to best practices.
  • Other projects and duties, as assigned.
  • Implement inventory control procedures to minimize stockouts and excess inventory.
  • Monitor inventory levels, identify discrepancies, and implement corrective actions.
  • Coordinate shipping and receiving activities, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries.
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the inventory department, ensuring accurate tracking and management of all inventory items.

Requirements
Education:
  • Associate's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Logistics, or related field, required
  • Bachelor's Degree, preferred
Experience:
  • 7 years of inventory management, warehouse operations, or supply chain experience.
  • 2 years of experience in a supervisory/multi-site leadership position, preferred
  • Experience leading multi-site teams, preferably across multiple states.
Computer Skills:
  • Advanced experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or equivalent ERP systems.

  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional projects and implement process standardization.
  • Strong regional leadership and team-building skills.
  • Analytical mindset with KPI management and process improvement experience.
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
  • Advanced ERP and reporting/dashboard skills.
  • Ability to walk and stand for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.

Other Details
Work Hours:
  • Generally, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm with occasional irregular hours depending on workload.
Travel Requirements:
  • Occasional (25%-50%) Travel regionally to satellite warehouses.
Compensation:
  • This is a salary position paid biweekly.
