The Manager, Sales Administration refines and implements sales strategy within the processes and information systems to enable sales personnel to perform their jobs and produce profitable ArcBest business growth. This position requires ongoing maintenance, optimization and execution support. This role facilitates and supports sales strategy, territory & account assignment management, account data integrity management, sales support and administration.

Responsibilities
- Administer arcb.com password security system.
- Supervise, maintain cost control, and ensure employee engagement, production and quality work performance.
- Serve as a participant in organization-wide initiatives that require cross-functional teams.
- Other duties and projects, as assigned.
- Execute the strategy for supporting current and future business needs.
- Manage the ArcBest customer database.
- Train, coach, evaluate, discipline, and lead department personnel.
- Consult with various groups to facilitate the strategic plan in collaboration across ArcBest.
- Manage back office processes, sales support, and on-line computer systems that increase sales effectiveness.
- Ensure the integrity of the ArcBest customer database.
- Administer territory structures, account assignments per territory and prospects.
- Identify and determine problem solutions and direct problem resolution with the department and various workgroups.
- Foster the development, maintenance, and communication of the ArcBest Sales strategy.
Requirements
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree, preferred
- 3 years Experience managing/supervising teams of people responsible for detail oriented work, preferred
- 3 years Experience managing, documenting, and optimizing processes, preferred
- Proficient Microsoft Office suite.
- Expert knowledge of ArcBest systems.

Work Hours:
- Generally, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm Monday through Friday with occasional irregular hours depending on workload.
- Minimal (0%-25%)
- This is a salary position paid biweekly.
