Job Description
The Quality Inspector is a vital part of our Technology R&D team, collaborating with Engineering, Robotics, and Supply Chain members to ensure our products meet the highest quality standards and requirements. The position performs inspections of raw materials, in-process products, and finished products to ensure that defined quality standards for durability and function are met.

Responsibilities
- Read and interpret blueprints, rules, product schematics, and test instructions.
- Perform duties related to the product life cycle as it pertains to quality assurance.
- Complete all activities related to data recording and preparation of routine reports for Tech R&D leadership in a timely and accurate manner.
- Operate standard measuring tools and equipment such as tape measures, calipers, verniers, and gauges.
- Maintain a positive attitude in a highly intense, yet rewarding, environment.
- Conduct routine inspections of products and materials to ensure adherence to standards and specifications.
- Assist in testing and troubleshooting prototypes and products to minimize quality issues.
- Perform minor maintenance, troubleshooting, and improvement of products in collaboration with multiple teams.
- Provide written reports regarding manufacturing site visits and other QA activities as required.
- Adhere to established safety policies and procedures during daily work activities.
- Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
- Travel frequently to conduct regular inspections at manufacturing facilities, assessing the adherence to quality standards and regulations.
- Review products, processes, and systems and make recommendations for improvement.
- Enter quality testing data into test reporting system as tests are conducted.
- Assist with QA training of multiple team members as needed.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve quality-related issues.
Requirements
Education:
- High School Diploma / GED, required
- 2 years of relevant experience working in production environment.
- Previous experience with quality inspections, preferred
- Experience with Quality measuring tools, warehouse shipping and receiving.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office product suite.
- Certified Quality Inspector by ASQ. within 90 Days, required
- Certified Quality Auditor by ASQ. within 180 Days, required

Other Details
Work Hours:
- Generally, 7:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. with occasional irregular hours depending on workload.
- This is an hourly position paid biweekly.
