The IT Asset Management Coordinator I receives new hardware and software, distributes assets to end users, maintains information in the asset management system, and prepares invoices for payment.
Responsibilities
- Assign corporate computer hardware and software to users in asset management tracking system.
- Process invoices for corporate PC hardware and software for timely payment.
- Contribute to and maintain asset management tracking systems standards.
- Asset tag equipment as appropriate.
- Enter receipt information into asset management tracking system.
- Receive corporate PC hardware and software.
- Track outstanding orders.
- Verify and enter orders into asset management tracking system.
- Other duties and projects, as assigned.
- Create and maintain documentation.
- Coordinate shipment of pooled inventory items.
- Create paperwork for monthly ADA.
- Coordinate processing and shipping of obsolete hardware to recyclers.
- Coordinate update of capital assets in asset management tracking system with unit numbers from accounting.
- Coordinate scanning/indexing of all paperwork.
- Assist in managing corporate software license compliance.
Requirements
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree, preferred
- No prior experience necessary
- Personal computer software knowledge, including Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Sound analytical, organizational, problem-solving, communication, interpersonal, and phone skills.
- Ability to quickly research, assimilate, and utilize new technology skills.

Other Details
Work Hours:
- Generally, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm with occasional irregular hours depending on workload.
- This is an hourly position paid biweekly.
