Manage and coordinate the linehaul activities in respective domicile area, relays, and end of line movement. Manage administrative functions regarding exempt, non-exempt, and bargaining unit employees.

Responsibilities
- Ensure employees have tools and education to perform their job in accordance with location/company goals and direction
- Supervise drivers and supervisors
- Manage resources to ensure cost-effective allocation of number of drivers and amount of equipment
- Perform area planning to ensure time efficient and cost-effective movement of loads, and daily inbound and outbound volume from all end of line stations
- Other duties and projects, as assigned
- Work in a team setting to accomplish department goals
- Maintain a positive attitude in a highly intense environment
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree, preferred
- 5 years experience with freight/transportation industry, preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of company goals and direction, DOT regulations, and labor contracts, preferred
- Planning, decision-making, problem-solving, and analytical skills
- Interpersonal skills
- Must be detail oriented and enjoy a fast paced, multi-tasking, customer service minded environment
- Must have excellent verbal and written communications and organizational skills
- Must display sense of urgency, ability to work under pressure, with attention to detail

Other Details
- Generally, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm Monday through Friday with occasional irregular hours depending on workload.
- This is a salary position paid biweekly.
- Variable compensation is included.
