The Quotations Analyst provides market-competitive rate quotes and meets revenue and profit goals for Customer Solutions. This role will also increase ArcBest's footprint as a single source provider of logistical solutions.

Responsibilities
- Answer customer and field questions regarding specific shipments and provide information on various logistical solutions.
- Provide market-competitive pricing decisions for ArcBest's spot quote markets while maintaining profitability and market share.
- Maintain a positive attitude in a highly intense environment.
- Evaluate and analyze the optimum mode(s) of transportation for shipments.
- Work in a team environment to accomplish departmental goals and to meet the needs of customers.
- Resolve other customer-service related issues which may be outside the scope of the department, through training or contacting other areas for assistance.
- Must be detail oriented and enjoy a fast paced, multi-tasking, customer-service minded environment.
- Provide published rate quotes to customers.
- Utilize negotiating skills and sales techniques in order to secure business.
- Other duties and projects, as assigned.
- Evaluate and adjust quotes and freight bills, as necessary.
- Make pricing decisions on multiple-quote scenarios.
- Display sense of urgency and ability to work under pressure, with attention to detail.
Requirements
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree, preferred
- Customer service, sales, and/or prior transportation experience, preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Other Details
Work Hours:
- Generally, shifts are staggered between 6:00 am - 7:00 pm with occasional irregular hours depending on workload.
- This is an hourly position paid biweekly.
