Job Description
The Expedite Strategy Manager collaborates with the ArcBest Enterprise and Field Sales team on expedite strategy development for existing and new customers in the enterprise and middle market segment. This position generates new expedite business opportunities while strategically growing existing expedite opportunities alongside an assigned ArcBest enterprise or field sales representative. This position identifies quality expedite opportunities or work assigned expedite opportunities to secure and grow expedite shipments and net revenue. The Expedite Strategy Manager is ultimately responsible for securing new business for expedite and ensuring shipper satisfaction in a way that translates to ongoing expedite growth and aligns with ArcBest's core values.

Responsibilities
- Collaborate with ArcBest sellers to produce expedite growth from existing and new opportunities.
- Understand freight market trends and articulate impact on shippers' networks.
- Other duties and projects, as assigned.
- Drive the strategy for enterprise and middle market expedite opportunities to achieve volume growth and net revenue growth.
- Generate new middle market expedite customers and grow existing expedite opportunities with ArcBest Sales representatives.
- Collaborate with the Yield and Operations departments for pricing strategy and adjustments on new and existing expedite opportunities.
- Develop strong internal relationships and act as the customer-facing expedite expert on all expedite opportunities.
- Travel to new and existing shippers to meet with key stakeholders.
- Assist with expedite contract negotiation conversations, onboarding, and ongoing execution strategy development.
Requirements
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree
- 2 years of experience in third-party logistics sales, account management, or customer operations, preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Other Details
Work Hours:
- Generally, Monday - Friday between 8:00 am - 5:00 pm with irregular hours, depending on workload and customer and company events.
- This is a salary position paid biweekly.
- Variable compensation is included.
