Job Description
This position will assist in various clerical, administrative, and safety and security tasks in the daily operation of the Safety and Security department.

Responsibilities
  • Answer department telephones, with priority given to incoming calls on the Emergency Hotline, to gather information for data entry of all accidents, complaints, or incidents occurring within the system.
  • Receive, collect, process, and perform data entry into various files and programs, including but not limited to, roadside inspections; terminal inspections; driver observations; non-conformance; accident reports; injury reports; security; complaints; safety award program; driver qualification files; and incidents of workplace violence.
  • Process, file, and distribute documentation received from external sources, and distribute supply items as requested from field personnel.
  • Maintain files.
  • Audit and follow up with respective management on facility and equipment inspections performed by the RMSS.
  • Provide support and assistance for internal and external customers.
  • Provide support to other inter-department managers as needed.
  • Maintain a positive attitude in a highly intense environment.
  • Work in a team setting to accomplish department goals.
  • Receive medical status and documentation for injured employees.
  • Classify injures for OSHA.
  • Other duties or projects, as assigned.

Requirements
Education:
  • Must be enrolled in college and working toward a degree.
Experience:
  • No prior experience necessary
Computer Skills:
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, preferred

Other Details
Work Hours:
  • This is a part time position that will average fewer than 30 hours per week. Work hours generally fall between 8:00 am - 5:00 pm with occasional irregular hours depending on workload.
Compensation:
  • This is a hourly position paid weekly.
