This position assists with a variety of clerical, administrative, and customer service tasks, in addition to other responsibilities, as part of the fast-paced day-to-day operations of a service center.
The position involves regular communication with customers and ABF Freight management to ensure punctual handling and delivery of goods as well as complete customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- Excellent oral and written communication skills required.
- Good data entry and administrative skills required.
- Ability to follow instructions and procedures.
- Must be organized, able to handle multiple tasks and prioritize workload.
- Must manage time effectively and work with a sense of urgency to meet deadlines.
- Must be willing to work evenings and as required.
- Experience in invoicing, collections, tracing, digital capture and OS&D preferred.
- Experience in the transportation industry preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel and Outlook) preferred.
Work Hours:
- Usually Monday to Friday, day and evening shifts.
- Must be willing to work evenings and as required.
