Job Description
The Student Worker, Quality Assurance performs functions related to both manual and automated test methods for the Quality Assurance Team while learning the basic fundaments of the Quality Assurance process at ArcBest Technologies. This position creates both manual and automated test cases.
The Student Worker, Quality Assurance performs functions related to both manual and automated test methods for the Quality Assurance Team while learning the basic fundaments of the Quality Assurance process at ArcBest Technologies. This position creates both manual and automated test cases.
Responsibilities
- Create detailed bug reports for issues found during testing.
- Record and report detailed test results.
- Execute manual and automated testing for software projects.
- Other duties and projects, as assigned.
- Interface with internal AB Tech teams.
- Assist in managing test devices.
- Develop foundational knowledge for testing tools and techniques.
- Assist with writing test automation under supervision using multiple test frameworks.
- Assist with writing manual test cases under supervision as needed.
Requirements
Education:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Basic coding skills, preferred

Other Details
Work Hours:
- This is a part time position that will average fewer than 30 hours per week. Work hours generally fall between 8:00 am - 5:00 pm with occasional irregular hours depending on workload
