Job Description
The Student Worker, Customer Support provides customer support by proactively monitoring ArcBest shipments and quickly resolving problems as they arise.

Responsibilities
  • Other duties and projects, as assigned.
  • Type, format, proofread, and edit correspondence and other documents using computers.
  • Operate office machines, such as photocopiers, facsimile machines, voice mail systems, and personal computers.
  • Find, recommend, and implement solutions to problems.
  • Communicate shipment status to both internal and external customers.

Requirements
Education:
  • Pursuing Bachelor's Degree, required
Experience:
  • No prior experience necessary
Computer Skills:
  • Basic competence in phone skills, listening, and computer programs like Microsoft Office Outlook.

Other Details
Work Hours:
  • This is a part time position that will average fewer than 30 hours per week. Work hours generally fall between 8:00 am - 5:00 pm with occasional irregular hours depending on workload.
Compensation:
  • This is a salary position paid biweekly.
