Job Description
The Solutions Support Coordinator assists in development and management of processes for any Managed Solutions accounts; assists in coaching Operations team members on Transportation Management System (TMS) functionality and processes; and provides feedback and direction to training and systems functionality. The Solutions Support Coordinator demonstrates superior analytical and inter-personal skills while working with the ArcBest Managed team, ArcBest's carrier partners, and other internal ArcBest departments. This position supports data and shipment management and performs analyses needed to detect inefficiencies using our TMS platform.

Responsibilities
  • Support logistics solutions using the TMS software platform.
  • Build relationships and directly communicate with account owners, carrier partners and other internal ArcBest departments to identify requirements and instill confidence to meet agreed-upon requirements.
  • Maintain documentation of TMS processes and business rules to ensure continuity.
  • Monitor compliance of TMS processes and inform team of potential non-conformance.
  • Work directly with Managed account owners to assist in growth and execution of Managed Solutions customers.
  • Provide innovative ways to execute supply chain objectives more efficiently through the TMS platform.
  • Display sense of urgency, ability to work under pressure, with attention to detail.
  • Communicate key performance metrics, TMS implementation, integration, and on-going program information and updates to leaders and other Company personnel.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively across various departments or areas.
  • Develop comprehensive understanding of TMS processes and functionality.
  • Other duties and projects, as assigned.

Requirements
Education:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Transportation and Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Economics, Business, or Marketing, preferred
Experience:
  • 1 year experience in Logistics-related field in Operations, Sales, Transportation, Customer Service or combination of areas.
Additional Requirements:
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with proven ability to learn new systems quickly, required
  • Database and Transportation Management systems experience, preferred

Other Details
Work Hours:
  • Generally, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Monday through Friday with occasional irregular hours depending on workload.
Travel Requirements:
  • Minimal (0-25%)
Compensation:
  • This is an hourly position paid biweekly.
