The Senior Financial Operations Analyst - Vaux ensures cost accounting accuracy, operational FP&A support, SI&OP financial alignment, and strong inventory control practices. This position partners closely with Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, and Finance to deliver reliable costing, actionable performance insights, and disciplined working-capital management.

Responsibilities
- Maintain and enhance cost accounting processes to support accurate product and program profitability.
- Execute monthly close activities for manufacturing cost elements, including materials, labor, overhead, and related accruals.
- Partner with Operations and Supply Chain to analyze cost drivers, support productivity initiatives, and validate savings.
- Support governance of cost rollups, BOM/routing accuracy, and cost-impacting change management.
- Perform day-to-day inventory accounting, controls, and reconciliation activities across raw materials, WIP, and finished goods.
- Administer cycle counts, physical inventory procedures, and variance analysis to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Contribute to annual plans, rolling forecasts, and management reporting with a focus on cost, margin, and operational performance.
- Prepare monthly financial reporting packages, including cost analysis, inventory metrics, and KPI dashboards.
- Provide financial support to the SI&OP process by translating demand/supply plans into updated forecasts and working-capital expectations.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal controls, and SOX requirements related to cost and inventory processes.
- Identify and recommend process improvements and system enhancements within ERP and analytics tools.
- Build strong cross-functional partnerships and serve as a trusted financial resource to Operations, Supply Chain, and other key stakeholders.

Requirements
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, required.
- 6 years of finance or accounting experience with exposure to cost accounting and inventory processes in a manufacturing, technology, logistics, or supply‑chain‑driven environment, preferred.
- Hands‑on experience with ERP systems, including Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, required.
- Familiar with Power BI or analytics tools is a plus.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) - American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, preferred.
- Solid understanding of cost accounting principles, inventory valuation concepts, and key operational performance metrics.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present financial information clearly and collaborate effectively across functions.
- Demonstrated commitment to accuracy, internal controls, and supporting audit activities.
Other Details
Work Hours:
- Generally, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm with occasional irregular hours depending on workload.
- Minimal (0%-25%)
- This is a salary position paid biweekly.
