Job Description
The Quotations Coordinator, Part-Time is responsible for managing a variety of shipments and addressing customer concerns. This position requires superior customer service skills as well as the efficient utilization of resources including effective customer, service center, and field communication to make decisions that resolve urgent transportation-related scenarios.
The Quotations Coordinator, Part-Time is responsible for managing a variety of shipments and addressing customer concerns. This position requires superior customer service skills as well as the efficient utilization of resources including effective customer, service center, and field communication to make decisions that resolve urgent transportation-related scenarios.
Responsibilities
- Schedule pickup requests and submit rate corrections.
- Handle a large volume of interactions through multiple channels including phone, email, and chat.
- Other duties and projects, as assigned.
- Use multiple systems and programs in support of customer needs and expectations.
- Create bills of lading (BOL's) and provide shipment-specific documentation.
- Provide tracking updates and communicate delivery modifications.
- Determine customer needs to generate quotes for customers that provide a solution for their shipment.
- Provide accurate information regarding multiple services and solutions offered by ArcBest.
- Enter quote data accurately and promptly
- Maintain effective lines of communication with internal and external customers.
Requirements
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree, preferred
- Experience in the logistics industry, preferred
- Proficient understanding of PC and mainframe computer applications, including Microsoft Office Suite, preferred

Work Hours:
- This position is a part-time position that will average fewer than 30 hours per week, generally between 6:00 am - 7:00 pm with occasional irregular hours depending on workload.
- This is an hourly position paid biweekly.
