The Information Security Specialist activates and deactivates appropriate, approved security access to corporate software systems and third-party software systems for ArcBest employees and contractors in a timely manner.

Responsibilities
- Ensure proper approvals are provided for ALL security related requests.
- Other duties and projects, as assigned.
- Manage a high volume of tasks with competing priorities.
- Assist in maintaining documentation.
- Participate in implementation of new security groups and functions.
- Ensure all security related transactions are performed within the guidelines established by ArcBest Internal Auditing.
- Ensure appropriate parties are notified of ALL security related additions or changes.
- Activate or deactivate access to Exchange email on mobile devices for corporate users as appropriate.
- Activate or deactivate remote systems access for corporate users as appropriate.
- Activate, modify, or deactivate corporate user access to network file shares as appropriate.
- Activate, modify, or deactivate corporate user access to third party software systems as appropriate.
- Activate, modify, or deactivate corporate user access to Network systems as appropriate.
- Activate, modify, or deactivate corporate user access to RACF systems as appropriate.
- Prepare Exchange Email for new corporate users per established standards.
- Prepare USERIDs for new employees/contractors (corporate users) per established standards.
Requirements
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems or equivalent field, preferred
- 1 year experience in related field, preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of REXX program language, SQL or Microsoft Access, Visual Basic applications, and PowerShell.

Other Details
Work Hours:
- Work hours vary based on scheduling. Market coverage is provided 8:00 a.m.- 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Possibility of being on call during non-business hours.
- This is a salary position paid biweekly.
