Job Description
The Solutions Engineer provides research, analytical guidance, and innovative solutions to support innovation initiative deployments. This position learns customer needs, challenges, and requirements. The Solutions Engineer also acts as a trusted advisor, providing solution recommendations on how to utilize products based on analytical review. This position offers a high degree of responsibility and requires excellent problem solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Responsibilities
- Develop analytical models, perform validation testing, and make recommendations based on model results.
- Support post-sales process, including implementation team handover and KPI monitoring.
- Work as a bridge between the technical and sales teams, ensuring a smooth transfer of information and alignment of customer needs with the solution offering.
- Create and continually refine processes and tools.
- Based on customer requirements, design and propose customized solutions that address the customer's business challenges.
- Develop Statements of Work that summarize identified solutions.
- Develop pricing models for innovations and make pricing recommendations.
- Maintain a positive attitude while completing challenging work in a fast-paced environment.
- Engage in deep discussions with customers to understand their needs, challenges, and requirements.
- Assist in the identification of proof of concept projects to launch the innovation effort.
- Other duties and projects, as assigned.
- Define data requirements and analyze and interpret data from a variety of sources.
- Organize cross-functional projects and processes across departments and functions both within AB Tech and externally.
- Develop business cases and evaluate the ROI of innovation initiatives.
- Work in a team setting to accomplish both departmental and individual goals.
- Effectively translate customer discussions into an understanding of their current state and future state processes.
- Develop and conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the features, functionality, and value of the solutions to prospective customers.
Requirements
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field, required
- Master's Degree, preferred
- No prior experience necessary
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with a focus in Excel and PowerPoint, required
- Knowledge of CAD and SQL, preferred
- Ability to learn new systems quickly.

Other Details
Work Hours:
- Generally, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm with occasional irregular hours depending on workload and customer coverage needs.
- This is a salary position paid biweekly.
