Job Description
The Accounts Receivable Field Support Coordinator manages daily account balances for customers of field Service Centers and the Corporation, identifying delinquent payment situations. This position is responsible for the collection of delinquent accounts by contacting customers and investigating circumstances of non-payment involving service center receivables.

Responsibilities
  • Resolve account past due issues, billing disputes, misapplied payments, and other requests as needed for various ABF Service Centers to insure accurate and timely payment of invoices.
  • Maintain flexibility with workload including working with Field Support Analysts and Service Center Managers.
  • Determine root cause issue for late payments and implement problem solving solutions to prevent future late payments from customers.
  • Provide the highest level of customer service for both internal and external customers.
  • Maintain a positive attitude in a highly intense environment.
  • Build, develop, and grow all internal and external business relationships vital to the success of increasing revenue growth and customer experience across the Company.
  • Improve quality, productivity, and effectiveness through the Quality Process in the handling of customers with a past due A/R balance.
  • Work and contribute in a team setting to accomplish overall department and individual goals.
  • Apply knowledge and understanding of service center office functions in order to maintain financial services responsibilities.
  • Work closely with admin services to ensure proper staffing of collection duties at service centers.
  • Work closely with Field Support Analyst on project based assignments.
  • Other duties and projects, as assigned.

Requirements
Education:
  • Bachelor's Degree with a business related focus, preferred
Experience:
  • Prior finance, billing, accounting, or relevant experience, preferred
Computer Skills:
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, preferred

Other Details
Work Hours:
  • Generally, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm with occasional irregular hours depending on workload.
Travel Requirements:
  • Minimal (0%-25%)
Compensation:
  • This is an hourly position paid biweekly.
